Come Hang With Us Presents for the Month of March 2024, Green New Deal Rising – Solarpunk

Green New Deal Rising is a youth-led climate activist movement, with a national network of which Sheffield’s mob is active and thriving! We have decided to spread our message of hope for a greener future with an exhibition that imagines what interconnecting nature and community looks like to people. ie… SOLARPUNK. This will be a collaborative process, exhibiting work from anyone who gets involved in our brainstorming and workshopping sessions, run by @gndridingsheff and @shef_artcultureclub. The first of these is 10th February 3-5pm at 37-39 Chapel Walk, S1 2PD – welcoming everyone and anyone who has ideas about solarpunk art! Keep an eye out for the workshopping dates to follow.
Our opening night is 7th March from 7-11pm. There’ll be DJs + lots of chatting about our creative visions of a better world, a big evening for all climate activists, creators and merrymakers alike.
The exhibition will be running from 07/03/24 to 01/04/24.
